With more than 40,000 machines installed worldwide and 40 years of experience in the design of industrial traceability systems,
Technifor assists players in the automotive, aeronautics, medical and energy markets with their identification needs.
Today, Technifor continues its evolution by joining forces with Gravograph to become Gravotech and better serve our customers around the world.
Founded in 1981 and inventor of dot-peen marking in 1985, Technifor is historically known as the world's leading manufacturer of permanent dot, scribing and laser marking machines for the traceability and identification of industrial parts in various materials (metals, plastics and other organic materials).
Propen was the Gravotech group’s distributor brand until 2017, dedicated to its indirect sales network. Among our best selling machines were the dot peen marking stations (Propen P5000 and P3000), and portable (Propen M3000 and M7000), which have now been replaced by the Impact.
In line with the digital transformation of the industry, the permanent marking of parts is essential today so that they can be identified and traced in the production flow and throughout their life cycle. Technifor becomes Gravotech to accompany the development of Industry 4.0 by offering its communication solutions, predictive and curative maintenance as well as remote support for parts and marking systems that communicate with our customers' information systems according to their needs.
Becoming Gravotech also allows them to build a broader offer by integrating certain technologies from the world of signage.
